This article was developed in line with the recent purchase of a strong Asus Eee PC 1005HAB Mini netbook. I've had quite some laptop computers, but under no circumstances had a netbook prior to. This is my initially netbook now and I enjoy having it. This Asus netbook is incredibly powerful in my honest opinion while offering really great features. Netbooks have been around for a little bit now and have been heavily discussed on multilple web sites. Some netbooks come by means of Linux as their operating, but about 90% either have Windows XP or Your windows program Vista as their main main system. The one bought due to this review came with Or windows 7 and I am truly considering Windows 7 for it when it becomes available.

Things I really like about the Asus Netbook are classified as the weight and the screen/display. My last mobile computer I bought is around 3. 5 years old and We're amazed how the demonstrate technology has evolved in that time. The Asus netbook display is having a solid resolution and subject material shown on the screen is seen from across the area. While traveling I used the built-in Facts reader of the Asus so that you can upload my pictures with the camera. I then used Google Picasa to your workplace on my pictures along with I was partially amazed how great the pictures seemed like on the small television screen. The Asus netbook had a lot of horse power to modify the pictures to colors, rotation, and more without freezing up or delaying.

However, the one thing We're not so impressed with may be the battery life of this particular netbook. I do not know whether it's Windows XP or a Wi-Fi connection, but it looks like the factory battery is simply good for maybe 2-3 working hours. The battery power level shown by Or windows 7 is making big jumps down and this happens really quickly. The netbook has different power settings so that you will adjust settings for when perfecting battery, but even with the most battery-efficient setting the power decided after around 3 hours perhaps. As a matter about fact, even though the television screen brightness dims down when running on battery, the Asus Netbook still uses plenty of energy that drains the battery. So, my conclusion is that to bypass this problem you need to consider buying a substitute battery. The 1005HAB is the actual "Best Buy" version in this popular netbook with some minor downgrades when compared to real 1005HA. You can either have the battery from a further Asus 1005HA or replace the previous one with an formal replacement battery for longer battery pack.

My personal conclusion in regards to this little portable computer: Great netbook with ample horse power (memory and CPU) so to speak. I love the low weight and what I am able to do with this Asus 1005HAB netbook computer. The 160 GB hard disk drive provides decent speed and ample space. I am slightly disappointed about the solar battery life though. Would I buy it again easily have the choice? Sure, I would go due to this netbook computer again.
